Nisqually Rapid Geodetic Reponse

PUPU ~ PuPu Point/Tiger Mountain Site

The PUPU site is located about on PuPu Point, Tiger Mountain, about 4 km southeast of Issquah, Washington. The Department of Natural Resources provided permission to install a continously operating site on PuPu Point.

With help from UNAVCO, we installed a smaller, hand-drilled geodetic monument, known as the short, drilled-braced geodetic monument. The monument design is perfect for rapid installations of continuous GPS sites. Blyn is part of a radio telemetry subnetwork that feeds into the Pierce College hub. We are using KTBW as a repeater. Click here to see a map of the subnetwork.
